We wanted to let you know that we're changing Our Customer Terms for our customers.
What are the changes?
- To comply with the Online Safety Act, Our Customer Terms are being updated to include specific clauses regarding harmful online content.
- These terms include provisions required by the Online Safety Act for all providers of applicable services, including SMS, that allow us to restrict, suspend or cancel your service if you solicit, access, generate, distribute or store certain illegal or restricted material (like child exploitation material or pro-terror material) when using your service.
- We have also made some changes to our notice periods applicable to certain Consumer plans if changes to the terms are required.
When will the changes take effect?
The new terms will take effect from the date specified in Our Customer Terms. The majority will take effect from 22 December 2024.
