How can I control my content's video quality on Stan?
Generally, the video quality settings will be automatically adjusted according to your Internet connection speed to ensure smooth and interruption free streaming. However, you can manually control the video quality to suit your Internet connection and data allowance if needed.

  • Apple TV and Fetch TV will adjust quality settings automatically to suit your Internet connection. This is due to platform limitations.
  • This setting is stored on your device locally and will need to be set on each device individually.

To manually select the video quality, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Click/select the Settings cog while watching a video.
    The cog may be located in different areas of the screen depending on the device you are using.
  2. Select your preferred quality setting.
    Not all titles are available in Full HD or 4K Ultra HD.

It’s worth remembering, however, that high quality video will use up data at a faster rate than the Standard Definition option. For a more detailed explanation of what each setting entails, check out the info below:
